7. Synecdoche, New York

Watching “Synecdoche, New York” was hard. It was tough watching the world crumble into this mess. The minutes pass by but all that means is that your missing the hours, days, weeks, even years fly right by. In this film, time is almost missing and something about that just hits hard.

I first watched this film out of curiosity from a youtuber, YourmoviesucksDOTorg, recommending it on one of his lists. I was blown away by it and I don’t think I’ve ever seen something like it. This film is covered is so many layers it puts layered cake to shame. It can be interpreted in so many ways and it’s just an amazing film.

I can’t say much about this film without spoiling it so just go watch it. Charlie Kaufman is just that good.
